Recruiter reached out to me with basic questions about past work and education etc.. They stated that I was exactly what they were looking for and that an interviewer would review my resume and reach back to me the following week to schedule a video interview. Well next week came and they didn't reach back to me and instead I received a no reply rejection email. My resume is accurate and up to date, so it seems that the recruiters and interviewers are simply not on the same page at all going from "exactly what we are looking for" to auto-rejected.
