Once I got the first call, the next process was very fast. Interviews were difficult. From the overall discussion, and my own research, the company culture seems good, and the company is growing. So it is a good opportunity.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Quantcast (London, England) in Sept 2015
Interview
I decided to write my interview experience with Quantcast because it was so unprofessional.
I came to one of their open talk sessions, meet with their recruiter, and then have setup the interview process.
I have been through the first telephone interview, submitted a take home coding test, and onsite/video interview with some of their senior Engineers in London and US.
Afterwards it was silence. I emailed their in house recruiters for feedback and I didn't get any reply. Fine, "it is not the first company that refuse to give feedback to unsuccessful candidates" I thought. I was keen for their feedback because I don't think the interview was that bad, and also during the onsite, I was told that they think my take home test solution was 'interesting', so I want to discuss that. Anyway, I was disappointed but that was it.
Until about 6 months later, I get a LinkedIn message from their (new?) recruiter for the same position. I told him/her my experience, he/she said "sorry I am new and didn't aware you have already applied.... Do you want to start the process again?" I said "sure, perhaps we can start from my missing feedback?"
Then, silence, again.
