Interview
HR called and scheduled my interview in the next three days. My interview was with the Production Manager who I would also report to. The receptionist was attentive and acknowledged me immediately. The manager came up within 5 minutes, greeted me and showed me to his office. He was youngster, but I didn't hold that against him! He knew what he was talking about and a bit arrogant, but friendly. The office was immaculate, there were tons of live plants, fake trees, many many cubicles and so many employees. The culture was one of professionalism, and there was an air of urgency throughout the building. The entire interview lasted just over 2 hours. It was the toughest interview I have ever had and I nailed it! Some of the questions were, "Where do you see yourself in your career 5 years from now?" At the end of the interview, he offered me the starting position. I accepted. This was a humbling experience as it was a $12 an hr. position. However, I was promoted 3 times that first year. I am now in Sales and Marketing. I am one of two.
