I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Dayton, OH) in Oct 2015
Interview
The initial hiring process is tedious. There is a set of surveys and online tests which take about 90 minutes to complete. There is also an onsite test which takes about an hour. The tests are simplistic, but plan on quickly decoding word problems to solve basic algebra problems. (By and large most of the problems are dealing with ratios.)
Afterwards, some people are sent home and told they will be contacted within a week, others stay on site and conduct an in-person interview. Because all positions go through this testing process, I am uncertain if the former group "failed" the test, or if the person who would conduct their interview was not present.
A word of caution: I turned down the offer because the salary for new developers is $38k. For someone looking to gain experience, that may be fine, but it seems markedly low for the skill set required.

Question 1
What are your future goals? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds
Interview
Reached out by a recruiter to complete an online personality assessment. The assessment took about 30 minutes to complete and it consists of basic math and reasoning questions and personality questions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
Heard from a recruitment member via email upon applying. Following a response confirming I wanted to continue with the application, I was given an "IQ" assessment to finish. Upon scoring well and within the time frame we were asked to complete a skills assessment to match us to our supposed "dream placement". After completing all of these assessments, the company did not reach out for more than a week after which they finally sent a short rejection email with no feedback or information. Reviews on other platforms support this type of response, seemingly typical behavior.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX)

I was asked to take an at home test as well as a personality test before the first remote interview. The first interview was remote, then I had an onsite interview in which they asked very basic questions.
