I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Riderflex
Interview
I had a phone interview and then a virtual interview. In the virtual interview I was asked what my previous employer would say about me and if he would recommend me for this job. What was odd was that I had never mentioned this owner by name but the interviewer specifically asked about him by name. It was obvious they know each other, and when I stated that we were working through some issues with his company going bankrupt the whole interview tone changed. I suspect that I lost my chance from that point on, or possibly that they discussed me and that lost me the job. After that I was ghosted.

Question 1
Tell me why you're leaving your current position and would they recommend you for this position?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Riderflex (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
I interviewed with James who was very professional and even more direct. He told me what he liked and asked detailed questions. I wasn't a fit for the role but sent me another position to apply for. I talk to recruiters almost weekly and he was the best. He gave me the dignity of a rejection. Our culture is afraid of bad news and ghosting is a norm for society but isn't what happened here. How refreshing!
I applied online. I interviewed at Riderflex (Denver, CO)
Interview
After literally 2 MONTHS of interviewing with them & a performance task for the actual position I finally got an in person interview to teach a lesson. Upon arrival, I discovered they had already hired for the position- I was brought in to be observed as a licensed educator with real experience (unlike the new hires.) who also observed my ‘interview’ and took notes on my strategies. All the while, my riderflex staffer kept me going by suggesting I was perfect for a role that didn’t even exist anymore! I felt so used and disrespected. I would NOT trust this company to be respectful of your time and trust.
