They skip the phone interview, which is a bit of a waste of time. It's effectively a phone interview you have to waste time driving to and dressing up for. Generic questions about what interested you in the place, your work experience, etc.
This is followed by a personality assessment you take online. A bunch of questions trying to trick you into coming across as hard to manage or indecisive or unfriendly, plus a math quiz and thesaurus assessment.
Then there is an in person interview with the person who might actually hire you. It's about an hour long. You go over the assessment. The specific role. Which programs you know, etc.
The kicker is they tell you when to respect a response, but it comes late. Why? Because they send a form letter via mail. That's right, generic letter saying someone else better matched the skills they are looking for etc, but making sure to waste resources vs a quick email.
