The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rose Li & Associates in Jan 2024
Interview
Applied and was contacted for phone screening a few days later. Fairly basic questions about past experience and interest in the role. Then I was asked to complete a trial task which consisted of some skill-based multiple choice questions, taking meeting notes for a recorded meeting, and an Excel exercise. You only have 4 hours to complete everything. It was not difficult, but it does take time to make sure it is quality work. I wasn't satisfied with the quality of my work, as it felt rushed, but the task definitely made me realize that I was no longer interested in the role. They then have you meet with one of the staff for a debrief on the trial task. The staff member for my debrief sounded so uninterested, didn't offer any meaningful feedback, and seemed to just want to get it over with. I got the rejection the next day. Overall this experience was overkill for an entry-mid level position with a small, relatively unknown company. There were numerous red flags that indicated how disorganized this company is.
