I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rover.com in Oct 2021
Interview
As in the other descriptions -- screen, challenge, onsite. The people I talked to were friendly and they followed up with me at each step of the process. The only thing that disappointed me was the way they rejected me -- the recruiter used terms like "not quite there" and that the company would "pass"; I guess no rejection comes easily, but I feel like they could have given a little more thought to how their answer would come across and declined without making intimating that I was unworthy (even if, I suppose I am).
Even as someone who didn't pass the interview, I can say that if you have some basic database and data-processing knowledge you shouldn't have a lot of difficulty with the questions, at least for backend work.

It was a very good interview we had a nice conversation and honestly super good vibes. Super sweet interviewer and I highly recommend to apply here if you can because the overall environment is healthy.
Quick HR call to get ti know you, and then a technical challenge with their Engineer where you had to approach several challenges (string manipulations) that had to pass pre-written tests
