As to the folks I interviewed, every person I met with was very professional and respectful, which is a rarity. Are they exceptional though? Not necessarily. The overall direction of the company is sketchy- I knew that this role could be susceptible to layoffs ANYTIME under Marc Benioff's whim. Despite having already done a bunch of mass layoffs over the years and claiming to be AI first above all, surprised to find such a large TA team- 50 people just in Japan, and that's the size of the TA team that I got laid off years ago. They actually have full time Coordinators and was so sure that when interviews needed to be rescheduled, we actually gave them jobs to do. All this really didn't sell me on Salesforce's AI first claim, and the most senior person I spoke to (who actually gets the real situation) was constantly so concerned about the two AI companies awaiting IPOs so the SaaS-copalyse is pretty much here. Basically I wouldn't be surprised if this role disappears and I think they rejected all the candidates because they know that already. But did it need to take 2 months of everyone's time to get to that conclusion?
