Interview questions [2]
Question 1
explain how you have gone above the norm for some one in or out of a job setting
I was taken upstairs to the managers office.
The manager introduced himself and explained the role. He mentioned the hours and the days they were looking for and asked whether I was able to do them.
Right after the interview I was taken downstairs to the shop floor where I was behind the counter. I had to watch one of the employees for 10 minutes to see how they worked. Then I had to join in where I was offering the customers any of the perfumes they had on offer. They were testing my sales skills.
It was fairly causal. I was asked all of the typical interview questions such as what is your strongest skill, whats your weakest skill, give one example where you worked well as a team, where do you see yourself in 5 years. My manager also wanted to know what i was like as a person to make sure I would fit the vibe of the store
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Savers (Leeds, England) in Feb 2024
Interview
nice and relaxing! interviewer made me feel welcome and comfortable, no call back or anything but still a nice experience. questions were simple, easy and pretty informal. i was really worried about the interview since i hadn’t had an interview in such a long time but had no reason to worry since the interviewer was sweet and friendly
