Interview
Applied via university channel. The tasks are to develop new visual recognition algorithms using machine learning theory for SONY products. Expected capabilities include deep learning, signal processing, image/video processing. There were four interviewees from different groups at Tokyo institute. Each asked at least two questions about my research experience. They also shared what their departments worked on at that time. There was an HR who directed the interview.

They asked about my previous experience with video analysis and signal processing. They were also interested in what kind of research I am currently doing using recurrent neural networks (RNN). They asked about temporal signal processing and my solution to a potential question that involved my research.
1st interview with HR, 2nd interview with department managers. They mostly asked me about my current research. For example, what are the real life applications of my research, why did you choose this topic, what is the current state of the art etc
