I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Key Programs (Phoenix, AZ) in Sept 2017
Interview
First interview was a sit down with department manager, second interview was asked to return to give a sample presentation to a group of other trainers and manager. Not very friendly, all women group. Morale seemed very low. The organization seems very questionable, providing housing and resources to immigrant children (from elementary to high school aged) but they are locked up in what appears to be detention like centers where they rarely go outside. I was not comfortable working for this type of organization.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
If I would be comfortable training burned out and resistant staff?
If I would be okay with driving to one location, then getting the org car and then driving to the other side of the county to deliver a trainings including late evenings? Also the pay is hourly, not salary.
