I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2015
Interview
After applying on line, which included passing a qualifying test, the process was rather quick.
An immediate invitation to an interview, where none of the expenses were reimbursed- they only provided iced water. In my case I only had a "one on one" contact with the recruiter at the time of signing up with the required copies of Resume, and all the IDs, when I was asked directly how did I hear about this event taking place. The rest was a cruel process of elimination. I made it to a second round, and after that was asked to leave with about 50% of the people in our room. The "Group Project" was really incredibly stupid. About 10 people were sitting at a round table, and we were suppose to design an airline. We got a big piece of paper and 4 colored markers. They timed this process and 2 recruiters were watching us cruising around the table making notes constantly. After the time was up, each table was to present their airline to the rest of us in the same room.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first round, was picking a question from a jar, and answering it aloud in front of the whole room.
The concept was good, but the questions were ridiculous. I think, it was not about the substance nor knowledge but about the showmanship, how the answer was delivered and the humorous aspect of it mostly. If you can show off in front of the crowd and be loud and silly you were liked.
"Which reality show would you like to be on?"
I applied online. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Interview
Hiring event with other hopeful candidates. Day filled with networking, interviewing and just showcasing your personality. There are informational sessions, Q&A sessions, 1-on-1 interviews. It's a full day, come prepared with water and snacks (flats for the ladies if you'll be wearing heels).
I applied over the website. They send out emails. You reply to the email with your availability. They sent me a link to a Zoom call. Asked me personality questions and then we set up another interview in Houston Texas.
he airline’s flight attendant interview process begins with an online application, followed by an assessment day involving group exercises and role-play scenarios. Successful candidates then proceed to a 1-on-1 interview, where their communication and customer service skills are evaluated. The next stage is a uniform check to ensure professional appearance, followed by a final review. Those who pass all stages receive a training offer before starting their career. The process assesses teamwork, adaptability, and service excellence
