I applied for a position at StackNexus, and my initial interactions, including a recruiter call, were promising. However, the process took a negative turn during the subsequent stages. I had a second interview with the head of data science and a member of the recruiting team, where I was tasked with a take-home assignment. I was explicitly promised a follow-up call to discuss my solution, which was a significant part of why I invested considerable effort into the task.
Despite completing the assignment and reaching out multiple times, I never received any communication to schedule the promised discussion. The complete lack of follow-through and communication from StackNexus was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful of the time and effort candidates put into the application process.
This experience has left a very poor impression on me, and frankly, I found the lack of basic courtesy and professional integrity alarming. I would not recommend applying to this company based on my experience. It's important that a company respects potential employees, and unfortunately, I felt completely disregarded by StackNexus. I'd rather be homeless than work for them.
