I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Strategic Insight (New York)
Interview
Extremely long process and little communication in between. Applied online, did a phone interview, then a skills assessment, then more interviews. spoke with so many people. then never heard back. also took at least a week if not longer to go from one step of the process to the next. They don't seem to respect your time, or they're extremely disorganized (or both) and also appears like there's a lack of communication among the people involved in the hiring process for what the role entails, expectations/responsibilities, etc. heard different things from members of the team on what they were expecting out of the role. everyone was friendly though, except for the ghosting bit.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Strategic Insight (New York) (New York, NY)
Interview
Recruiter contacted me through LinkedIn; interviewed with recruiter; then came into the office and interviewed with HR and then on same day, the editor of another pub and the upper management/new ;private equity owners. I came ready with detailed demographic data and story ideas with which to focus editorial to attain subscription and page views growth, which the editor from the sister pub said she appreciated very much. However, upper management/new owners steamrolled me with their nonstop talking and general puffery and were way too fast-talking, uninterested and generally seemed full of BS,
