A recruiter calls you. They will ask you a few simple questions. go away and go improve yourself, there is no way you would have passed the later stages anyway.

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at TIBCO Software.

    Interview

I had two on-campus interviews with Tibco while I was doing my Masters Degree. The first one was mainly behavioral - my interviewer tried to gauge my interests in technology consulting/professional services and asked about my technical skills. The second interviewer was a bit more technical and asked me some (not very challenging) questions

    Interview

This process took over 2 whole months; from the first phone screen to the final offer letter. TIBCO was always an acquisitive company, but the constant excuses from the recruiter (who never remembered any details of the latest steps in the process) grew very thin. NOT a good or smooth process. Should have been the first red flag.

    Interview Questions

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TIBCO Software (Palo Alto, CA (US)) in July 2009.

    Interview

Scheduled interview by email with HR. Dress code was informal. There was a conference room reserved for the interview where I spend all 4 hours. There were 6 rounds with 2 people each - most of the hiring team. I was taken to lunch. Water and coffee were available near the conference room.
The company seemed to have a nice culture, the interviewers were laid back, but curious. Some didn't really know what to look for and others went deep into white-board coding. It seemed like a desirable place to work for me.
