I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TKDA in Sept 2024
Interview
I applied online for their positions based in Minnesota.
I was interviewed by a stupid recruiter based in Minnesota. I say stupid because she had no clue about the position she was interviewing for.
The virtual interview was a complete failure because she could not hear what I was saying. I tested my computer ahead of time and had no issues.
The interview became a phone interview instead.
I was told there would be positions in the Seattle area instead of the one they advertised.
This recruiter told me I would be an excellent fit for the Seattle office because of my extensive experience and having the required Structural Engineer License.
This recruiter told me another interview would be set up next week with the Seattle based team.
That interview never happened. I received a rejection instead. This recruiter lied to my face - and it was caught on tape.
Can you imagine how the rest of the firm is run if this interview is any indication?

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TKDA (Saint Paul, MN) in Dec 2021
Interview
Was invited to a recruiting event by human resources initially. Communication with human resources was great throughout the entire process and was willing to explain the offer and benefits. The interview with the team was virtual with no in person follow up.
Went great, asked about my project in detail and also he described about the job info, training program , preferred location. And it ended on a good note. Hoping for the best outcome.
