I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot
Interview
Worked with a recruiter. He set up an "interview day" which had both behavioral and technical same day.
I had the interview on a Thursday.
Got an answer I think by Weds of the following week.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself, how would you handle a situation where you and your teammate had different ideas where you thought your idea was better, explain a project.
Technical was mostly React-based questions, the difference between var, const, let, state management, lifecycle methods. Had to build a countdown timer in react and js.
Data structures alg and basic object oriented programming ideas. Behavioral was a very easy process, why do you want to work for Home Depot, and what would be a good role that you want to be a part of.
I interviewed at The Home Depot (Winston-Salem, NC)
Interview
Four rounds of interviews with different people. One with the hr representative, one with hiring manager and two technical interviews. All virtual or phone calls. With different people through out.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Interview was easy and it was remote. Recruiter was on time and very friendly. Helped me throughout the process and was very approchable. Mostly focused and talked about things on my resume and common HR questions.
