Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at Travelopia
The internal recruiter did not show up to the arranged interview without an apology or follow-up communication. Wasting potential candidates' time should not be an accepted practice by the company.
- No questions were asked as a result of the internal recruiter not showing up to the interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Travelopia (Denver, CO) in Aug 2022
Initial phone call was the most unprofessional I have ever been on. Was diminished and belittled because I was not the right fit. Great, I may not be the right fit but to do it in the way that was done was the most unprofessional interview I have ever been in.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Travelopia (New York, NY) in Apr 2022
Horrible experience, got email asking if I could speak in 30 to 45 minutes. Responded I had a conflict. Never heard back, then was rejected after two weeks of no responses to my email. Tells you completely about their culture

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Travelopia (New York, NY) in Jan 2022
Phone HR screening round Tech Interview round The questions asked seemed very theoretical and not something you expect someone with 4 yrs experience to be remembering.. I mean not a fresher to remember semester exam 5 mark question answer. Questions were not upto par with expectations and the interviewer seemed very judgemental, so just gave yes/no responses and concluded the interview process asap and dint proceed with the company. Its companies like these that teach you, even if they give you loads of money, it's not worth taking if the attitude is poor & questions you are asked in the interview are sensible & upto par with someone experienced instead of asking 5 mark theoretical questions.
- What are the Rest API principles
- What is monkey patching
- Would it be possible to rollback DB after TRUNCATE or DELETE table
- Some simple questions with Python lists

Anonymous Employee
I interviewed at Travelopia
It was 3 rounds one with HR on behavioural other two technical rounds. All rounds were good. Hiring manager very professional and good. It felt more of conversation than interview.
- Consolidation accounting, lease accounting IFRS related

Anonymous Employee in London, England
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Travelopia (London, England) in Mar 2020
This interview is having 2 rounds, one is technical and second is Finance Manager. Interview Process is smooth and clear. Technical is something which they ask based on current issues which they are having in the system.

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Travelopia
The interview consisted of the Manager and another member of the team talking through how they way they want Hiring Managers within their team to start interviewing professionally and with more structure. It is a shame this was not reflected in the interview they were conducting for their own team. Late arriving, disorganised and then had to leave early for another call. We didn't even discuss anything about my CV (probably because they didn't have a copy!)
- I wasn't asked any structured questions so preparation wasn't necessary.

Anonymous Employee in Crawley, West Sussex, South East England, England
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Travelopia (Crawley, West Sussex, South East England, England) in Oct 2019
Interview with multiple interviewers at the company's head office. After which feedback was given on the interview and whether or not the position was to be offered as a result.
- Example of when I have overcome an obstacle.
