Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at U.S. Army Reserve (Melbourne, FL (US)) in April 2012.

Interview

Professional, most of the interview process takes place at your commissioning source, like at your ROTC program or Officer Candidacy Board. They look at your overall status as a potential candidate and your appointment as an Officer will come after an evaluation period towards the end of your training. Appointments will be offered based on an Order of Merit list.
