Process was simple. Submitted an application, attended a virtual hiring event/information session, scheduled an interview. Interview was done entirely remotely through Zoom. The interview panel were all very nice and I had a great time. I believe that I was not offered the position simply because they found someone with more experience than myself (I have 4+ years).
