      35M Interview

      4 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Tampa, FL
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Army (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Had to go to recruiter, got asked lots of questions. should get in as long as you have no felonys or arent over weight. then went to MEPS to get physical and swear in. i was underweight but got a waiver. shipped to basic training about 2 months later. when you get there you spend a week in reception which your recruiter wont tell you about and doesnt count towards the 10 weeks of BCT. it will be the worst experience of your life.

      Interview

Need to get TS SCI, don’t lie on the background check, other than that there is no real interview process. They’ll look up your butt at MEPS, and basic training will be annoying, but that’s it

      Interview

The Hiring and Interview process is really not very complicated. The first step is to go to your local U.S. Army Recruiting Office and talk to the recruiters there. Talk to the Army National Guard Recruiter, Army Reserve Recruiter, and the Active Duty Army Recruiter. They will all want you to join their part of the organization so you just have to decide what you want and see what they have to offer you. Take the ASVAB to get a score to determine what job you are proficient for. Once you have a score you will know what jobs you can "apply" for. Pick your job, sign your papers, and you are hired!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult question they are going to ask you is about your criminal history. Don't lie about it because they will find out regardless. If you have no criminal history then you will have no problem.
