I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Up and Running (Montgomery, AL)
Interview
The interview process runs through, and with, the project manager (who is not a curriculum person), also conducted with a site manager (who typically is). Their process is short and very organized. Because of the dynamic of the contract, turn-over is limited and typically interviewees are well-known in a limited market. One telephone, one face-to-face interview process and then selection decisions are made. In the years (over 4) that I've been around this company, not a single employee has left (except for mandatory family moves). People are rewarded and happy and it's a tight-knit group.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions pertained to online instruction, curriculum development and instructional theory. When I interviewed, much of the curriculum was based knowledge of federal employee supervision; it was an area I wasn't confidently strong in -- those questions were, obviously, the most difficult for me.
