It was a straightforward interview. Recruiters called and spoke to me over the phone. Questions were basic and relatively easy to answer. Only had one stage of interview but the process was smooth and easy

Interview
There were 2 interview stages for this role.
The 1st interview was with the direct supervisor and it lasted about 1hr 15 mins. The interview was more on my current job role to see how it fits the vacant position I applied for. They were looking for someone who is an all-rounder; from digital marketing to event management. Their expectation was for someone who could dive into the job straightaway with minimal guidance. This interview was a positive one as they have shown interest to move forward such as mentioning my expected salary as well as dates for handover.
The 2nd interview was with the Country GM and the interview lasted for nearly 40 minutes. The questions were more so on "tell me about yourself, personally", my current goal, and 5 years plan.
Overall, both interviews were a positive experience but of course, with some red flags as well such as indicating that it would be long hours, last-minute projects with short deadlines, emphasizing that they are fast-moving environment many times, top-down management, HR uses WhatsApp to call for interviews (don’t expect an email), etc.
Another thing I wanted to highlight is that they re-advertised the position with a different JD while they asked me to wait for an answer. They should have informed me that I didn’t get an offer before they re-advertise the position again. It shows that professionalism is subjective in this company.

Interview
Very unprofessional. Went through 3 interviews and passed it all. They offered me a package not up to my expected but then agreed with my expected package after i explained my reasons. Felt very good about it at first. They verbally offered me the role and rushed me to get my notice period which needed me to notify my HR.
The next week they needed me to speak with the Head of HR. I have never felt so insulted in an interview. She basically told me that i wasnt THAT great and there are other candidates willing to take a lower pay which surprised me because if that's the case then why did they offer me? She also reminded me twice how i APPLIED for the role and they did not headhunt me which is funny because if you do not wish for candidates to apply for a role then don't post a job post?
After that chat i had, they ghosted me for a month.
I am actually glad this happened before i joined the company because this clearly shows the culture of the company. Unprofessional, poor internal communication process and slow.
I hope no candidate will have to go through the terrible recruiting experience that i had to go through.
