Interview
I received an on-site interview after talking to Vanguard at my university's job fair. The interview was 2 on 1. Most of the questions they asked me were behavorial. A couple questions were to see if I had a basic knowledge of the stock market. The interview took about 30 minutes. I was told I would hear back at the end of the week even if I was declined. I received no call back and the week after I contacted them and was told I was declined.
STAR format with a case study, role play, and debrief. Questions focused on how you prioritize and handle adversity. Role play scenario is designed to see how quickly you can build rapport and your ability to assess need

The interview process was a half day commitment, which began with an orientation and then two-part interview. One of which included a 1-on-1 behavior based line of questioning, aka the STAR format. Part 2 of the interview was a case study dealing with a customer situation, and two managers allow you time to review before they come in and ask you questions directly related to the study.
