I received the interview, by having my manager introduce me to this store's manager. I came prepared with an application and a resume. My "thing" is to print both on card stock. It feels professional and sets your application apart instantly.
Using the company's "lingo" was my key to success! Victoria's Secret has its specific terminology. Be sure to figure out key words and phrases. It allows the hiring manager to know that you know the company and you have done your research.
For a phone interview...
-have notes prepared in front of you.
-find a quite place.
-look good, because you portray more confidence.
-use a phone with good reception (no static, good signal, etc.).
-don't be late.
-speak clearly and audibly.
