      PR Manager Interview

      21 Nov 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Vrbo (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2015

      Interview

i was approached via LinkedIn by their Sr. Manager of Recruiting. I replied that I was interested so, he looped me in with a Sr. recruiter. She contacted me the following week. We had a phone interview. It was about 45 min long. Great talk, she seemed to like me and my experience and the feedback was positive. She said that it might take a few weeks because one of the PR team leads was on maternity leave. Followed up day after with a thank you note. I gave it 3 weeks until i politely followed up again. No response. Inquired again about a month later. Nothing. You'd think for a company that prides itself for being so cool and friendly - they'd give some kind of feedback. I find that companies who leave interviewees in the dark are most annoying. I totally respect if a company at least replies with as to why they aren't moving forward.
