Good conversation with Talent Acquisition.
Then had interview after a week or so with hiring manager. It was robotic and scripted in an old fashion way with the conversation-blocking “competency based” questions. That’s all the manager was interested in. Add to this the “let me stop you there” interruptions, which I find extremely rude and you get the picture of how it didn’t flow at all.
Just have a human conversation and you will find out allot more!! I could have done that job hanging upside down and blindfolded but because of the robot-style interview, you didn’t get to actually know me. Each candidate is different and you think you are being fair and equal by asking everyone the same questions, but you’re achieving the opposite. Just have a conversation with them, build a rapport and you will understand if they are a good fit.
Also, 4 stages of interview for this is highly unnecessary.
The interview took place 3 - 4 weeks ago and I have heard zero back, nothing!
I sent a message to TA about it and have been ghosted..no reply.
Apart from offensive and disrespectful of me and my time, this is extremely unprofessional and a reflection on your company. I had been told that your business was bad and to stay away yet wanted to give you the benefit of doubt…but they were right!
