I applied directly on their site, and their EA got back to me on the same day to schedule an interview with their VP Engineering. She said it's more informational to learn more about the company, and to discuss my background.
The call with the VP Engineering went decently. He asked me a few questions about technical hurdles I overcame at my previous role. I asked a few questions about WayUp, their tech stack, etc. By the end of the call, he began to seem less genuine and interested in me. I asked about what the interview process is, and he didn't share many details.
Then, I got an email 3 days later saying I was rejected which I don't understand why.
