What happens to an electrical system at its pole? Draw the

  bode plot of G(s)=w/(s+w).

Usually a person would reply that the transfer function magnitude tends to infinity at the pole of the system. But, when the bode plot is drawn, the magnitude at 'w' looks finite. Why?
I'm leaving it unanswered for people to think.

I think it is due to at the pole s is actually equal to -jw rather than -w. Thus the denominator is not 0.
