      Fulfillment Associate, Document Management Interview

      18 Jul 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Wilmington, DE
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (Wilmington, DE) in Feb 2024

      Interview

I applied to their website directly. I was emailed by a recruiter the next day. Went through the process with the recruiter and was set up with an interview with the fulfillment manager and territory manager. The interviews were separate but back-to-back. The fulfillment manager went over my experience and explained the job. I was sure to ask plenty of questions and try to relate it to my current experience to show interest in the role. The territory manger did the exact same thing and seemed kind of like a waste of time, but I thought it was nice to meet the people I would be working under. I tried to relay this by mentioning how I worked closely with the executives in my previous experience. After having the interview, I was told I would be set up with a second round of interviews. Next week comes and I haven’t heard anything, so I email the recruiter asking if a time has been set up for the second round. After 2 days of no response, I checked the website and saw I was set to not selected for the role. I emailed the territory manger to see what happened. No response from the territory manager but I got an email from the recruiter telling me they chose someone that more resembles what they are looking for. The most generic response. Not helpful at all. A few days later they posted the position on their website again. I thought you chose someone that better fits the position. I had almost multiple years of document fulfillment experience with a steady promotion record showing I am good at what I do. I left my previous company because my project was thrown to a different location and my team was torn apart. That is why I was looking into this job. How am I not a good fit? Why lie saying I was good for a second round then ignore and decline me with no notice? Why lie to me saying you chose someone else just to open the position again? At least tell me what you didn’t like so I can improve in my future endeavors. While the interview experience was very friendly I would not recommend trying to work here. It was nothing but a waste of time. Being promised another interview and then being ignored and declined without notice. Any other company I have interviewed with at least emailed me a day or two after saying if I was selected or not.
