Process for Yahoo Finance Content Engagement Squad:
1. Recruiter Screen
2. Hiring Manager Chat
3. Technical Interview
Typical recruiter screen supposedly followed by a chat with the hiring manager about your experience. The recruiter said the hiring manager is interested to speak with me but the recruiter never scheduled my interview in. After following up numerous times including with the hiring manager himself who said the recruiter will schedule the interview with me the recruiter just ignored my emails and ghosted me. This was a very odd experience and I would not recommend interviewing with Yahoo. They have no issues with leaving candidates hanging.
I was also suprised by the fact they don't have scheduling software for a supposedly large, established organization (e.g. GoodTime). The process to schedule interviews is very manual - the recruiter asks for your availability, you reply via email, they schedule it in (if they choose to reply to you).
