Interview
1. I had applied online and was contacted by the recruiter next day. I dad a screening round with the recruiter- she was fun, engaging and very professional.
2. After a couple of days, she shared that the position I had applied for has already been filled and I am being considered for other open position and if I'd like to proceed. The other position was even more exciting, so I went ahead with the process.
3. Next round was with the hiring manager. A very smart and humble guy.
4. After clearing that, they flew me to the HQ in SF where I had three 30 mins and one 90 mins interview.
Unfortunately, I developed a splitting headache by the time the last round with the hiring manager started and I wasn't able to give my best to that one.

Question 1
1. Redesign a specific page from trip advisor
2. Walk me through your process of coming up with Top 10 brunch places in the US.
3. If the head of BD comes to you and says that they have acquired the database of all the local events in the restaurants, how would you make business and product out of it?
4. If there's a way to generate x no of reviews automatically, how would you pick the top category to put these reviews on?
5. Tell me about your favorite app and re-design it.
6. Design a feature to order a coffee and walk through the product strategy, business sense, pricing, design, wireframes and metrics.

Interview
Their interview process is low quality. When interview schedule was updated, the interviewer’s name and position should have been as well, but that did not happen. As a result, I ended up meeting with someone from a different function who did not clarify the reason behind. It was a shock because it completely changes my preparation for types of answers. This person was yawning, distracted by surrounding environment, and probably responding to chats on the side also.
Interviewers answers to my questions were vague and lacked relevance.
Not sure if the company's solving customer problems or if it is more focused on leveraging collected data for company growth only.

Specific question for the role aiming to achieve its advertised feature. But, it's almost too specific (because this interviewer was engineering lead) and forcing to disclose logics and implementations happening at my current work.
was good. the interviewer was kind. I felt appreciated. I would try this out again but I was only looking for a competitive over to take back to my current employer.
It was video call interview with HR first if selected goes to tech interview, then you get another interview with seniors for assesment about your experience then another final interview
