Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Zycus.

Interview

They have a Questionairre with logical/mathematical questions, around 25 questions which you need to answer
After that is the technical round and then the HR round.
The technical round posed a question related to database design and all questions further to that were based on the first question. So if you goofed up the first there is little hope

Interview Questions

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Zycus (Mumbai).

    Interview

Just had one HOD level and one HR interview. Plus they have a simple aptitude test too. The process wasnt very professional I had to wait almost 3-4 hours for the noble HOD to come and take my interview. The HOD started blaming the HR for the delay, I should have then realized the work culture. The interview questions were very vague basically whatever the HOD had read lately on project management. It was simple questions.

    Interview Questions

    • This question about count the number of white Maruti cars in the city is a very common question with this HOD. It is asked during all interviews irrespective of levels.   4 Answers

    Negotiation

Well they have set bands if you ask something below the band they would happily give you the higher one. Not much of negotiation required

    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zycus (Mumbai).

    Interview

around 3 rounds, technical, online psychometric test and then VP round

Normal PM related questions were asked in technical round. However, in the last round un-related questions to your job are being asked. Reason being to check your creativity and thinking; which may have nothing to do with your direct responsibilities. This kind of questions suits to Google/MS/FB kind of companies. One suggestion to the organization is to be clear what kind of profile you want and make it clear to the candidate before interview.

    Interview Questions

    • In the last VP round If you ask a senior PM candidate, a technical algorithm to bring pieces of image together, who actually will be working as customer facing; probably may not be the right way to go.

There may be a burning desire to show off with creative questions, but if the intention was right, such questions go well in written form and not in a verbal interview.   1 Answer

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Zycus (Mumbai) in June 2018.

    Interview

Very unprofessional, at first they kept calling me for a interview, when I agreed, they fixed a time however the call didnt come. Neither was any update on rescheduling of the interview. Then final they called and after a few questions, they said I cleared the initial screening, next i will have to face the technical round. But the round never happened, they are so unprofessional they didnt even reply to my email. After 10 days I traced the HR executive on linkedin and finally she replied that my profile didnt meet their requirements. Such a shocker of a response, when you were ideally committed to go through the technical round. I felt better not work in such a unprofessional and lethargic organisation
