My style of leading and managing is one where I lead by example and hold myself to an even higher standard than I expect from those I am working with. I feel that by me living and breathing what I expect, it shows that the work can be done in the prescribed manner and that my expectations are not unreasonable. Less

I prefer not to micro manage. I will assist any employee to learn their job functions, work through an obstacle that is preventing them from completing their job and I will jump in to help if the department is bogged down. I will not babysit, over coach, or what I call meddle in my employees work. However, being responsible for the success of the entire department I will be involved and ask how things are going and give direction if it is needed. Less
