Name 5 uses of a stapler without staple pins 31 Answers1. to hit people 2. as a paper weight 3. remove the spring from inside and use it for some mechanical purposes 4. to remove staple pins 5. to out a nail in the wall. 1. Door stop. 2. Use the stapler as collateral for a loan that you use to buy staples and operate the stapler (which is hopefully helps you pay of the loan in some way...) 3. To scrape off ice from your car window. 4. Bottle opener. 5. Pet Stapler. 5 uses for a stapler without staple pins, huh? I would tell my interviewer that it could be used as a weight to hold down your papers, it could help level out an unsteady table, it could prop open a door, it could keep open a window that keeps closing, and i'd let them know that it is on retainer to meet other needs in the office as they come up. Show more responses 1. staple remover 2. paper weight 3. door stop 4. hammer 5. weapon I can use it to hit you in the... 1) head 2 hands 3) chest 4) back 5) junk 1. paper weight 2. wall decoration (Art work, Conversation piece, etc.) 3. spare parts for my working stapler 4. decoy stapler (for my co-workers to 'borrow') 5. parts for a desk catapult I would ask, what kind of stapler is that like, size, length etc...and based on that I can decide what can I do with that. The one thing which is missing is - Create music, provider its of appropriate length. 1) stapling papers together (Staplers don't use pins...they use staples). 2) hemming pants that are too long. 3) nailing co-workers to the cubical wall 4) melting it down and casting 25 mm figures for wargames 5) Sell it on Craigslist to someone that has staples but no stapler. 1. paperweight 2. stress reliever 3. prop to replay scenes from "The Office" 4. Insect smasher 5. Nut cracker I agree with xmundt that staplers use staples not pins. Duh! What you have to understand that there is no stapler..... Looks like this company (EvaluServe) is in India. Isn't it possible that they call staples "pins" there, like how the British call elevators "lifts"? Me: Spring Loaded Catapult, Foldable Back Scratcher, Simulated Drum Kick stand, Controller for Hungry Hungry Papers, Office Jello Filling Show more responses 1. Hammer 2. Tongs 3. Lever 4. Weapon 5. Musical Instrument A great opportunity to take a walk around the office 'to borrow some staples' and at the same time get to meet and talk to someone new/you've always wanted to talk to, and explore a new opportunity (preferably a bit bigger than where the next staples are coming from). Repeat 5 times :-) There are many uses of a Staple if there are no pins. But to see the real potential of the staple you need pins. Many. But to see the real potential of staple you would need pins I can think of a million uses for a stapler without pins, but I'm hard pressed to fine one use for a stapler without staples. This question is designed to test the divergence of your thinking. They never mentioned the size or the material from which your stapler was made from. Maybe the stapler is 50 feet long and made of gold? Perhaps made of copper? Notice the repetitiveness of the answers posted. Expect the same in interview sessions from one candidate to the next. Always answer in a way you know they wouldn't expect you to answer. That'll leave your mark. Staplers don't use staple pins. A stapler without STAPLES would be a problem. Even with staples (or "staple pins") I think the stapler barely has six uses. 1. Paperweight 2. Door stop 3. Desk decoration 4. Hammer 5. Anal prob 1. Hammer 2. Toy flip phone 3. Nutcracker 4. fake taser (threaten co-workers) 5. paperweight (I do this...also with tape dispenser or coffee cup) I really like Niall's answer to walk around meeting people, learning what they do - using the need for staples (or staple pins, whatever they get called) as an excuse. I also really like xmundt's answer to make a profit (Craigslist) pairing up your deficient stapler with someone else's need (someone with staples, but no stapler). Show more responses 1.Tear an envelope 2.Music instrument 3.Toy Crane 4.To call someone(where talking is prohibited) 5.Switch on something when my fingers are paining - door weight - castanet - plumb bob - tongs - fish scaller (scale both sides with one move) are few of many uses.... i will sell out to some one & with that money i would buy 5 things for five uses 1. To play a prank on someone by telling them there are staples in it. 2. Unfold and use to drag something small out of the space beside/behind a piece of furniture if you can't reach it. 3. Press on to paper the way you would if there were staples to add texture to a page. 4. Unfold and use the metal to cut the tape off of a new box of staples :-) 5. MAKE IT TALK LIKE A PUPPET!!! 1. staple remover 2. paper weight 3. door stop 4. Insect Smasher/Hammer 5. Nut Craker 1. Nose hair puller 2. Alligator puppet toy 3. Mechanical Venus fly trap 4. Toe nail remover 5. The NEW Chinese finger puzzle 6 A new Pez dispenser for candy As an overachiever, I stopped at 6. 1)to staple 2)to remove staple 3)paper weight 4)use as ruler 5)we can compare angles 6)use as weapon 7)use as hammer 8)to call someone by making sound 9)doctors used for stitching 10)music instrument 1. give to someone with staples or ask someone with staples to give them to you 2. paperweight 3. make an indent on a page to mark it 4. stress reliever/ keep hands busy 5. hit something/someone with it |

i have a gun in each hand, one with 3 bullets and other with 2. i fire them together at you, what is the probability that you die? 16 Answers2/6*3/6 + 4/6*3/6 + 2/6*3/6 = 2/3 is correct. 1 - 4/6*3/6 = 2/3 is a better answer. the corrent answer is 5/6 . since both the guns are fired at the same time and both the guns do now hve any connection so probability of 1st gun firing a round is 3/6. and probability of 2nd gun firing = 2/6. now we will add then wince they are mutually exclusive. 2/6 + 3/6 = 5/6 From a Business Analyst perspective, I will not assume that the formula for calculating probability is the same as what I understand it. I will confirm from the SME and that is the Business Rule. I will determine the factors that can affect the firing decision by asking some questions. What are the different factors that makes the user pick up one gun or 2 guns? Is the user aware which gun has how many bullets? Is that a factor in decision-making? Does the user like to bluff sometimes? How frequently? etc. Show more responses 1 - P(gun1 failed) * P(gun2 failed) = 1 - (3/6)*(4/6) = 2/3 I guess it is a six revolver. 1-3/6*4/6=2/3 * Why to assume the revoler to have 6 slots? A die is thrown, possible outcomes are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Likewise, a bullet is shot, possible outcomes are hit or no-hit. Now the possibility to die is probability that atleast one bullet hits the target = 3/4 * If a six bullet revolver is assumed, then the total possible outcomes is 12. The probability to die is the probability that atleast one bullet hits the target = 3/12 = 1/4 Ho there is a glitch! * If a six bullet revolver is assumed, then the total possible outcomes is 36. Now the possibility to die is probability that atleast one bullet hits the target = 3/36 = 1/12 The prob should be 5/12. Lets consider a case where both the guns have 5 bullets each, simply adding i.e, 5/6 + 5/6 would give a prob greater than 1. To kill, any one of the bullets in either of the guns need to be in the slot that gives 5/12. probability of 1st gun firing a round is P(a)=3/6. and probability of 2nd gun firing P(b)= 2/6. probability of 1st gun FAILURE P(a')=3/6 probability of 2 nd gun FAILURE P(b')=4/6 3 conditions are possible p(a)*P(b')+P(a')*P(b)+P(a)*P(b)=2/3 probability of 1st gun firing a round is P(a)=3/6. and probability of 2nd gun firing P(b)= 2/6. probability of 1st gun FAILURE P(a')=3/6 probability of 2 nd gun FAILURE P(b')=4/6 3 conditions are possible p(a)*P(b')+P(a')*P(b)+P(a)*P(b)=2/3 Answer - 5/6 Solution - Either bullet is fired from Gun A or Gun B P(A) = 5C2/6C3 P(B) = 5C1/6C2 P(A OR B ) = P(A) +P(B)= 5/6 You Shoot and I die , simple ,now do I need wait to calculate your probability but the question doesn't specify how many bullet shots will lead to death of person that data too is important Show more responses 83% of getting killed the chance of getting killed is 41% and the chance of survival is 59%.. the chance of getting killed is 41% and the chance of survival is 59%.. |

How many smaller cubes are completely invisible in a n*n*n rubic's cube? 7 Answersn^3- 6n^2 The number of cubes are n^3(volume). The number of cubes exposing one or more sides( 6 *( n^2) - all cubes on the sides.) Number of invisible cubes are n^3- 6n^2 . Isn't the answer none since the question says "completely invisible"? every unit is visible by at least one side so any sub cube (made of these units) has a portion exposed. N*N*N-(N*N*2+N*(N-2)*2+(N-2)*(N-2)*2) Show more responses (N-2)^3 (n-2)^3 you can verify by assuming n=4. Try to visualize invisible cubes and compare it with answers. (n-2)^3 you can verify by assuming n=4. Try to visualize invisible cubes and compare it with answers. (n-2)*(n-2)*(n-2) |

My resume was shortlisted and telephonic interview was conducted after which I was called to Bangalore for GD & Interview. I cleared the GD too but in interview they said that sorry we are looking for a B.tech grad as this is a technical position. I didn't get that why have they shortlisted my resume when my qualification was clearly mentioned in the resume further being a Btech grad is not a licence of being suitable for technical position . Employers seems to be really confuse. 6 AnswersSame things were happened with me, most of famous big big mnc like Accenture & Cognigent. I have cleared all the round when they wil give to offer letter that time they told me that am in hold position if vacancy is not their then why they are taken interview and selected candidate. FGHH because of you didn't mentioned clear resume, that's why they didn't understand your resume.I think you mentioned Btech in the place of B.tech. Show more responses Prepare your resume with clear titles, education and experience while applying for job. Please ask the recruiter to share the job description before applying for any job. sup question same here with Accenture, the HR lady as really stupid,if they dont have any work then y d helll they call candidate n waste there time. |

How'll you find the weight of an object attached to another object without detaching them and without using any weighing machines. Both the weights are unknown 8 AnswersIf the objects are linked by a thread, I'd just put each object one side of my arm and let the heavier one go down while the lighter one goes up TheMigthyBat, no they're attached as in bolted together. You don't know the weight of either of them. And it's not about finding the heavier of them, it's about finding the exact weight of one of them without disturbing them. Cant we just see the amount of water displaced by the object and then calculate the weight? I think its easy that way, as we can control the volume immersed in water. (let it be attached in any way) Show more responses I think we can take a perfect model of both objects and weigh them separately... by immersing them in a liquid....one by one....and checking the amount of volume displaced.......and applying principles on the liquid collected immersing in the liquiud is the ans to thi s ques ... bt still then they are connected together so the total volume obtained would the sum of both objects .. then how could we find the volume of each one .. Water displacement theory seems to be nice. Since there is no information regarding how they are attached we can do the following way. catch one weighted and dip the other weight in water. Some water will be displaced. Now repaeat the same in revesrese order. i.e catch the second side and dip the other weight. Now calculate the amount of water displaced in both the cases. greater displacement - lesser water displacement. Now immerse completely both the objects and find the displacement of water. by this you can arrive at the answer its simply and easy. Let us use the simple way to determine which is heavier. Let us assume the weights are connected with the thread. And use the water displacement. And we can use the six standard mathematics (A+b) whole square formulae. We can calculate the weight of the object |

### Business Analyst at Mu Sigma was asked...

Well, in the Logical Interview, there was a question about 4 friends crossing a bridge with a single torch. The speeds of all the 4 friends were different and no one could cross the bridge without a torch. So while going 2 people had to go while coming back only one could come back with the torch. I think that the speeds were: 2, 3, 6 & 7. I gave the answer as 20 but it was wrong. It was a tricky question. 7 AnswersThe Answer was 16. but what is to be find? Ans is 18 mins 1and 2 go-3min 1 comes back-2 mins 3 and 4 go=7 mins 2comes back=3 mins 1 ans 2 go=3 mins so 3+2+7+3+3=18 mins Show more responses Who are these four friends 12 As the speed of the friends vary...... They have to maintain the same speed,so the minimum speed of the two friends is the speed for both. By this speed of 1&2 will be 2 for going and 2 for returning.2+2=4,hence for 1&3,1&4.....4+4+4=12 if u r thinking in mathematical way, the question has insufficient data. So the speed and time is n. We could ident if you are thinking in the mathematical way. The question has insufficient way. It didn't mention speed and time. And we can't say the exact time and speed. So the answer would be N. But if you are thinking in logical way. Just simple the speeder person needs to reduce their speed to match the slower person speed. If am right. This question is for the team effort and team performance . Not an individual performance. Correct me if I'm wrong |
