I spoke about other large events that I had been responsible and incorporated those techniques into my answer.

I explained that culture is driven at the ground level, so I had a responsibility to change the culture for the better. I gave an example of that at my previous company where our team was stuck because the process didn't work anymore. So we changed it.

I explained that challenges come up that may or may not be within our control, but getting out in front of them to prepare leadership, and counter-balance misses with other revenue and margin generating opportunities was the way I dealt with the challenge, something I had not yet had to address.

I said, "I would change the daily communication with customers to be more user friendly."

I talked about my perspective - I'm a glass half full person - I find opportunities in any challenge vs. getting bogged down by the problems right in front of you. That perspective allows me to really dig into a challenge and get excited about the opportunity to improve.
