I was presenting this information to a specialty provider who was an outlier in prescribing habits. When I was early in my career. I worked frequently with a coworker who made a lot of errors. My supervisor, expected me to check this person's work on top of doing my own work. Additionally, I received a "talking to" when I missed an error by the coworker. Eventually, I explained my position, and the supervisor agreed that the rest of the team was not held to the additional level of responsibility or risk because of their shift - buddy. As a result, shift partners were rotated and the load was shared until the individual was eventually put on a PIP and ended their employment. Less
