I had similar experience with Lakewood College. I interviewed via the phone. I must they gentleman I interviewed with was extremely nice. I was suppose to have a face to face interview , two hours later I was sent an email that the position had been put on hold. Yet three weeks later- it was reposted. The disconnect was if at any point I was hired - I would have had way more higher education by way of degrees. I think that is where the buck stopped for me. I had interviewed several places that told me I was over qualified or had too much education. It really was not that big of a deal , however; I think Lakewood College took the low road and was not honest with me as an applicant. I think companies like that are huge red flags and question why giving out honest news is such a huge deal! Less
