I was asked about who their competitors were, which is often asked by potential employers, but is not easy to answer unless you have an insight into their marketing strategy, which you don't have when you don't work for the company yet. Once you do work for the company and know who the competitors are and what the marketing and other objectives are, and why, you can then approach your work accordingly.
