Answer: I informed that I believe the solution offered is a great value and gave compelling examples why I believed this and then explained that based on my conversations with the TA and Sales Leaders, learning about their needs and matching that with my experience, background and commitment that I believed I could collaborate well and help achieve their hiring goals. His response to that was very insulting. He said, no tell me why you really want to work here, implying that I was not being honest. These people checked my references and said they were working on an offer for me, leading me on for 2 months and never delivered on their promises. Less

I felt that I would fit in well to the culture which is wonderfully diverse yet close knit, sociable and cohesive. I was delighted when I was offered the role and have been very happy at Eligo! Less
What is SAP HANA? Gave me a scenario to check my reaction on handling pressure- this was really new and lovely. Asked question on how I can hire a person, where an employee has failed his BG check, but my gut says to go ahead?

I answered exactly what SAP HANA means. The pressure scenario was little dicey, but answered to my capability. I also answered the ways to recruit employees differently. The manager was technically and theoretically is very strong in recruitment that made me happy; I will be very happy to work under him, if I get a chance. I am shortlisted and expecting to be selected. Less
Do you have experience recruiting for the government in Canberra?

No to everything regarding government/Canberra (clear from my resume). I tried to say I'd recruited engineers AU-wide (including from defence - security clearance seemed relevant here) and globally, but that's not what they were looking for. Less
Briefly pitch to us a software tool or platform that you recommend we should use to improve our recruiting effectiveness? Please provide links to their websites, and describe how we should use the tool to improve candidate quality, reduce recruiting time, reduce costs or all three. Hint we already use LinkedIn Recruiter and evaluating Gem so no need to mention those.
