CEO stated that all employees get the "TEFCU spill" and was required to adhere to it. Which is the vision of the credit union and employees need to do their part to bring the vision to fruition. There is a false preception that it is a family oriented company however employees are required to work late hours (10 hours daily) Monday - Friday and 4 hours on Saturday and there is no excuse not to.

TEFCU is definitely NOT family oriented. If you call out sick because your child is sick, they ask for proof and medical records. Less

Georgia United Credit Union does not schedule people to start when an offer hasn’t been extended AND accepted. Many companies pull credit checks to verify a candidate’s eligibility. If that is not something you want to have done you can simply decline and apply to jobs with other organizations. Less

Thank you for your feedback. GUCU should not be pulling credit checks to verify a candidate's eligibility before walking in to your building. That's a trust issue when a potential candidate has filled out an application. Once you have the credit report that is confidential information that you have after no offer an been extended. A freeze had to be placed. Less

a person who mismanages debt does so irresponsibly, the person who has an excrutiating circumstance is someone who has a life changing event, such as losing a job or getting into a horrible accident which can cause them to not pay bills. Less

A person that mismanages money is probably immature and irresponsible. And a person under excruciating circumstances is someone going through something that's out of their control. Less

I don't take it personal. I know they are upset at the situation and not me. I make it a point to allow the customer to vent and politely acknowledge their feeling and go on to explain and provide a solution. Less
