Suggestion to all: DDI seems like a brilliant prospective organisation to work with, but probably due to their past experiences would like to pick up candidates from within the HR/Training Industry. So apply with this consideration in mind.
Having Hr/Training experience would be a positive for candidates for DDI. However, it is not a knock out factor at all. We have many people working for us from a variety of industries. We take a whole person approach and use our assessment instruments to looks at competencies, attributes, knowledge and experience. So we are looking for the best talent out there, so if you are not from HR/Training I wouldn't let that discourage you from Applying..
Clearly the interviewer didn't share the same philosophy as those espoused by the company.
