If this was a question of how I can translate the role of legal advisor, then the answer would have been easier. But, it seemed asked whether I was willing to step down. I should have answered, perhaps, that I know the role and duties of a trustee (or something like that). Less

Very strange group of people. Initial phone interview was conducted by an HR lady who was late calling me by 15 minutes, she seemed tired, poorly motivated and overall wasn't too enthusiastic. The in person interview was a little silly, it felt as though they were interviewing a school leaver and not a professional. They did not go through my experience or past roles but essentially just asked irrelevant questions. It honestly felt like a waste of an hour of my time. The overall set-up of this bank is strange and doesn't feel 'right'. Less

She didn't ask that many question. The only one I remember that I thought she was being vague on was what software programs I had used in the past. It was obviously a "fishing expedition" rather than saying "We use XYZ CRM. Have you ever worked with XYZ before? No she wanted me to guess. Weird

I told her I had lost of questions about the problems they are having. I wanted to know why there was an opening? (an acquaintance had interviewed with this same group 5 times over 4 days. She was more than qualified. She sent each of the people she interviewed with a little painted birdhouse. The folks at homeaway were thrilled. The story even made it into some of the job search lore on the internet. No only did she not get the job but they would not even return her phone calls. Less
