Even though the position was a Sr Manager -- and I have 20+ years experience - I was given a "homework" assignment more suitable for recent grads and interns. If I was interviewing for CFO, would they have given me a math quiz?

I tried to answer in far more detail than was asked. After I was told I would not be moving forward, I politely asked for feedback Not only was I not given any, they wouldn't even respond to tell me it was against their policy not to give feedback (something I later learned from Glassdoor). Maybe I rejected because of age? Less

You were not rejected because of age. I was hired by Tableau at 58 years of age, and there are lots and lots of gray-haired people around. It is the friendliest situation for people in their 50's and 60's and even 70's that I have ever encountered in my long, long career :). Less

Of course I gave standard answers but I was hoping that UX + Maps + Real Estate would spark something in the recruiter but sadly she had no clue and I'm sure I never went past her. Less

Not really a question and that's the problem.
I asked them about the requirement of 5 years + experience in their job description - see 'Describe the Interview Process' above.

They did not have an answer.
They asked the usual behavioral type questions: Tell me about a time where you had a difficult situation get a team to collaborate in a healthy way? How did you resolve the issue? What did you learn from the experience and what would you do differently now?
