Manager: "Paper and a pen provided to take notes, candidate is not allowed to leave with notes". Candidate not allowed to take any personal notes during the interview. Candidate not allowed to look at their resume or job post print out during the interview. H/R recruiter (H/R Recruiter) was very rude and treated me the candidate with a very negative undertone prior to the interview commencing. 1.) H/R Recruiter: Relevant education or degree. Are credentials local in Canada ? 2.) H/R Recruiter: Do you have any relatives working for the TTC (spouse, common law partner, son, daughter, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, cousin, niece, nephew, inlaw or step relative) ? 3.) Manager: Outline education, work experience and any other training skills or certification relevant to the role ? 4.) Manager: From past work experience, describe a time faced with competing tasks and how the situation was addressed? 5.) Director (unclear english, off script interruption): Do you have anyone reporting to you in your present position ? 6.) Director (unclear english, off script interruption): Do you manage your own time ? 7.) Manager: What entices you to this position and how do you think you’ll be able to have an impact on this role? 8.) Manager: Situational question, you rec’d an email from an internal customer indicating a bus rad is around 9 months old and it’s failed. What key types of info would you include on the claim form to the supplier and what attachments if any would you include ? 9.) Director (unclear english): Describe your understanding of whores ? Director had to repeat himself a few times to finally pronounce the intended word as “cores” not “whores”. And what are the details of the pieces and how you track them ? 10.) Director (unclear english):: Describe the work environment and culture which you experienced most success in? 11.) Director (off script): Does your current work environment provide with this type of culture? 12.) Director (unclear English): “What is your current biggest weaknesses are ? What do you do to minimize the impact these weaknesses you have within your work environment ? “ 13.) Director (unclear English): What’s your approach to meeting and understanding customer expectations with an example ? 14.) Director (off script): Where does the in service date come from, the ERP or where ? 15.) Director (off script): Have you instituted any customer service surveys on your behalf or your manager’s behalf ? 16.) H/R Recruiter: Can you tell us your understanding as it relates to accessibility and accommodation for persons with disabilities, how do you deal with any sort of accommodations for someone in a workplace ? 17.) What are some of the things you practice to ensure the safety of yourself and coworkers in he workplace ? 18.) Director (off script unclear English): In health safety do you participate in any huhh...huhh... 19.) H/R Recruiter: “And last question, so we’re looking for huhh... how do you perceive yourself rating in certain software products, so with Excel, analytical tools related to warranty reporting, Outlook, IFS or any other databases) 20.) Manager (off script): With outlook pls provide an example of what you do

Do you actually get a rejection mail or update from TTC if you are not selected. I gave an interview a month back but haven't heard back from them yet. Less

All questions were answered with examples.

Same question as the phone interview. Need to go through the process. Hint??? go through the motion and wasting my day off that I take from work. The schedule originally taking for the day I had off at work but accommodated the system so they could preceded on with the hiring process. Already have a chosen from within the company!!!

Tried to answer questions to the best of my ability. Should have got up and left and treated them the same way they were treating me. Who wants to work for a company like this....I welcome the person to answer me or challenge me. Thank god for social media...I'll continue to write on other sites until I get an answer. I all ready have a great job and I have nothing to loose. " we will get back to you in 4 weeks, we still have a few people to interview all next week????" wrong will get back to you when we feel like it. I tried to get the interviews email Oh.....3 days later...we found someone??? Less
