Senior Business and Support Analyst(Algorithmic Trading)

The hours for this position are: 4:00 am – 1:30 pm IST

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide trading related technical and analytical support to global multi-asset clients
• Develop an understanding and thereafter guide clients about working of trading algorithms and transaction cost analysis
• Monitor and support the production trading environments
• Liaise with Application Developers to find resolutions for reported software problems and to ensure that change requests are managed effectively
• Implement, test, and certify FIX connections between clients and vendors
• Install and configure software platform to client specifications
• Manage and implement roll-outs and upgrades of our advanced financial trading system

Experience/Skills:

• 5-10 years previous experience with electronic trading operations and capital markets is required.
• Familiarity with FIX and algorithmic trading is highly desirable, but not required.
• Must have an interest in financial markets and trading.
• A degree in finance, computing, engineering or sciences with good grades and from a top university is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Good computing skills. Experience with SQL will be a plus.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• A highly organized and systematic approach to learning and work.
• Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific major is preferred.
