QA Tester (Manual/Automation)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with 4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and UAT testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct API testing using Postman.
• Perform database validation using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Manual Testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
• Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing.
• JIRA or other defect tracking tools.
• API Testing using Postman.
• SQL for database testing.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.

Good to Have

• Selenium Automation Testing.
• Cypress or Playwright.
• Jenkins/CI-CD knowledge.
• ISTQB Certification.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
