    We are looking for a Software Developer who can be described as a self-starter and quick learner who is versatile and can easily adapt to multiple technologies. The successful candidate will thrive on a high-performance team and be an excellent communicator.

    As a Software Developer on our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing sustainment of these systems through support and maintenance activities in addition to the building of new application systems through the modernization and integration of existing legacy systems.

    What you will do
    • Design, develop and test software to specifications.
    • Provide production support, application monitoring, and tuning for applications.
    • Provide consultation with the Systems Architect and Business Systems Analyst.
    • Participate in project planning.
    • Deliver code reviews and provide feedback relative to best practices.
    • Implement enhancements to existing software including solution design, work breakdown and estimation, deploying the changes and warranty support.
    • Organize work tasks and coordinate with other team members.
    • Handle multiple priorities.
    • Support production (includes after hours support as part of a rotation).
    What you will bring
    • A degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience, of 5+ years of experience in a software developer role.
    • Software design methodologies and proper documentation procedures
    • Software requirements analysis and design principles
    • Agile team experience, especially related to Scrum or Kanban practices.
    • Understanding of technical environments and their infrastructure including servers, networks, and security.
    • Proven Expertise in some of the following:
      • VB.NET / C#
      • ASP.NET, .NET MVC, .NET CORE
      • Web services (REST API), client server environment
      • DBMS (Oracle, or SQL Server), PL/SQL
      • Code management tools, such as GIT
    • Experience in the following tools would be an asset:
      • Visual Studio
      • JavaScript, SQL
      • JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow
      • IIS
      • AIX, Windows Server
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
    • IT experience and the ability to understand and effectively work with legacy technologies and contribute as legacy applications evolve and are migrated to new platforms.
    • IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and after-hours support.
    • Initiative with the ability to easily adapt to change.
    • Knowledge of software design, methodologies, and documentation standards.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    The base salary for this position is between $57,100.00- $104,800.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
