Seasoned Windows system engineers contribute to the growth of the company and are expected to be self-starters and motivated by the work at hand.

    Our company is focused on small and medium sized businesses that need an IT department but don’t want to manage it internally themselves. We also work as an adjunct to existing in-house IT. We offer services to help our clients be more successful by managing their technology needs. These services include: networking, security, data and email services, as well as hardware and software support in addition to a variety of consultation and preventative maintenance services previously only available to larger organizations. We offer more services than most computer companies and focus on preventing IT disasters through a unique managed services program.

    The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and experience:

    • Experienced in Managed Services (MSP); excellent knowledge with best practices in keeping IT systems efficient – minimum of 3 years managed services experience
    • Deployment and administration of Microsoft 365 (M365) environments. Proven success migrating business email to M365
    • Optimizing network (all components: network gear, servers, desktops, and the like) software and hardware – minimum of 5 years working with business-class networks
    • Building and deploying file servers and cloud computing solutions; Windows Server 2019 experience and Hyper-V implementation experience a plus; understanding of Azure implementations – minimum of 5 years building/trouble shooting servers and 1 year deploying Windows Server 2016 (or better) w/ HyperV
    • Implementing and monitoring network security; inclusive of firewall and VPN install & configure
    • Performing network infrastructure troubleshooting including Windows Server troubleshooting
    • Designing general business local area networks; inclusive of WiFi install & configure
    • Configuring and deploying VoIP solutions; comfortable with physical install as well as configuration
    • Mobile and Macintosh skills are a plus
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Experience with formal ticketing and remote monitoring and management tools

    As a Windows System Engineer you will be responsible for the repair, installation and maintenance of server, computer, peripheral, and networking hardware, either at the customer's location or through a remote connection. In addition you will monitor and maintain network systems, troubleshoot and make improvements to customer's networks as necessary.
    The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Net+
    • CompTIA Security +
    • MSDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)
    • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)

    The exceptional candidate will have the following experience:

    • Have worked or currently working in an IT service firm
    • Have worked or currently working in a Managed IT Services organization
    • Have recognized customer services skills and IT Services industry knowledge
